If you are not a technical specs reader and/or have not heard it yet, please be assured that Leonardo loudspeakers are capable of of reproducing live and recorded music to the highest professional and audiophile standards. Our speakers represent a mixture of prime ingredients and the technical and musical knowledge. We use only fine quality components, the most advanced design softwares, Baltic Birch to build the enclosures, and decades of experience in music performing, production and in accoustical engineering. We design the components, the electronics, the enclosures, perform testing and build our speakers in Vancouver, BC, in Canada.

DESCRIPTION

An unusual flat panel Front-of-house speaker system, only 9-inches deep, capable of hi-fi sound quality at stunning output levels. 1100 WATTS AES, 2200 WATTS PROGRAM. MADE IN CANADA.

Vocal clarity is dramatically enhanced by the dedicated MF device, covering 330Hz to 2.2kHz. Below this, the 15-inch LF driver is optimized for powerful fundamentals down to 80Hz. Above 2.2kHz, the large format compression driver provides a seamless transition, and explosive transients. With much of the stress removed from the HF driver, IM distortion drops, and reliabilty improves. The one-man portable, 90-litre system deploys quickly with simple rigging hardware, into stacks for longer throws, or clusters for maximum dispersion. leonardo

While hanging 'line-array' systems have become fashionable, they have rigidly defined coverage patterns. In contrast, the LEONARDO F3B can be used as a long throw or wide angle rig, as required for each venue. Eliminating expensive hanging hardware also reduces weight and set-up time. These advantages are most obvious in small and medium scale venues, and those with limited ceiling height.
